CDL Driver / Equipment Operator

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is looking for a safety‑focused CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure that safety is the first priority by complying with all safe work practices, rules, regulations, and safety policies as set forth by the company and the customer.
• Drive and operate all CDL required equipment in a safe and professional manner, including Roll‑Off Trucks, Flat Bed Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, and Service Trucks; perform pre/post‑trip inspections on units.
• Properly document all company, federal, state, and customer documentation and paperwork as required by law and or established policy in a clear and legible manner.
• Operate high‑pressure water‑blaster and vacuum equipment.
• Perform field technician duties as required (e.g., shoveling, tank cleaning).
• Communicate effectively and professionally with an on‑site customer representative.
• Lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment and, as needed, perform minor repairs.
• Maintain equipment and company property in proper condition.
• Work in elevated or confined spaces and perform lock‑out tag‑out and crane safety tasks (training provided by SES).

Skills / Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a Class “A” or “B” CDL license with a Tanker Endorsement (N) or Combination of Tanker and Hazardous (X) endorsement, air brakes, and a current DOT medical certificate. CDL restriction codes not acceptable include No Air Brakes (L), Intrastate Only (K), No Full Air Brakes (Z), No Manual Transmission (E), and Medical Variance (V).
• Experience driving a manual 10‑speed transmission or higher.
• Maintain insurability under the company’s insurance plan.
• Understand elevated or confined space entry requirements and lock‑out tag‑out and crane safety (training provided).
• Comprehend and understand English to a level that allows compliance with safety instructions and emergency situations.
• Pass pre‑employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and/or post‑accident/injury substance abuse screening and background check.
• Willingness to travel overnight for assignments as required.
• Ability to perform Technician 1 within 30 days of employment and full knowledge and ability to perform Technician 2 & 3 within the first year.
• Physical ability to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repetitively.
• Repetitively lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and wet conditions for extended periods.
• Work in confined spaces and tight quarters.
• Wear protective equipment such as respirators, safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
• Climb ladders and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights and confined spaces.
• Capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
