Job summary

DSG is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver for our Fort Dodge, IA location. This full-time, hourly role covers delivering products to customers and job sites, with responsibility for loading, unloading, securing, and transporting materials.

Expect a typical day involving safe loading, coordinating with warehouse staff, truck inspections, and customer communications. Must hold a valid Class A CDL with a current medical card and have 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL with current medical card (required).
• Basic product and warehouse/delivery knowledge typically gained in 1–3 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Physically able to lift, push, pull, or move items weighing 70–325 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Load delivery truck safely according to policy.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on loading requirements.
• Inspect truck and trailer for DOT compliance and safety.
• Report vehicle safety or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Communicate delivery dates and times with customers.
• Deliver to customer locations within ~150 miles of branch.
• Unload materials per customer directions.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA and OSHA regulations.
