Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery drivers play a vital role in the food supply chain by ensuring timely, safe delivery of products while building lasting customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, answering questions accurately and promptly
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations, report issues, and ensure vehicle safety
• Follow all DOT and company safety policies
• Load, unload, and verify freight, ensuring proper documentation and securement
• Deliver products according to schedule, obtain signatures, and handle customer payments if required
• Complete all necessary paperwork and logs accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and security of equipment and trailers
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL A license
• Meet state licensing requirements
• 21+ years old
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass drug test, background check, road test, and have valid DOT health card
• Able to lift 10-90 pounds and operate necessary equipment
