Who We Are:

Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company serving Idaho and Montana for four generations.

Job Summary:

The delivery driver will be responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. The work schedule is Tuesday - Friday, 4 10-hour days.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection
• Drive assigned route, delivering beer safely, timely, and professionally
• Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Check product in with store personnel
• Fill all cooler, shelf, and display spaces at the time of delivery
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit
• Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily
• Rotate all product according to company standards
• Be courteous to customers and their employees at all times
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with no major driving violations
• Ability to lift 25-35 lbs regularly, and up to 160 lbs to waist level
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license and medical card
• Ability to navigate with a hand truck full of product
• Ability to utilize standard handheld computer input/output devices
