• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload materials.
• Process returns, pickups, and related paperwork when required.

Class A CDL Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely transport and deliver materials to customer job sites while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally during customer interactions.

This position operates commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) exceeding 26,000 pounds and may require towing trailers exceeding 10,000 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles to deliver materials to customer locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and deliver products in accordance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed while protecting customer property and company assets.
• Verify delivery orders, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain delivery records, mileage logs, Hours of Service (HOS), and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
• Provide outstanding customer service and professionally address customer questions or concerns.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance of assigned equipment and vehicles.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload materials.

• Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within five (5) days of request.
• Fewer than five moving violations within the past five years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred

• Two (2) or more years of CDL driving experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment.
• Building materials, construction, or distribution industry experience.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Work is performed in a warehouse, manufacturing, or outdoor delivery environment and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, moving equipment, and other industrial conditions.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 200 pounds with assistance.Ability to climb, bend, kneel, push, pull, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles and operate vehicle controls for extended periods.
