Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.

Job Summary:
The delivery driver will be responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. The work schedule is 5, 8-hour days.


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection
• Drive the assigned route, delivering beer in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Check product in with store personnel
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered products for credit
• Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily
• Rotate all products according to company standards
• Be courteous to customers and their employees at all times
• Communicate effectively with sales reps
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations
• Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. regularly, and 160lbs to waist level

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical card
• Must be able to navigate with a hand truck full of products
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices
