Job summary

A&M Bronx Baking Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver to deliver baked goods across Connecticut. You will load, secure, and transport products, perform inspections, and maintain accurate logs while providing friendly service to customers.

Role requires knowledge of DOT safety standards, ability to lift heavy items, and effective route planning. You will work with the warehouse team to ensure timely orders and maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Detail-oriented and well organized for paperwork management.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle to deliver baked goods across CT.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Load/unload products and ensure proper handling of goods.
• Maintain delivery logs and documentation per policy.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Adhere to traffic laws and drive safely.
• Assist with route planning to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure accurate orders.
