Job summary

Covenant Transport Services is seeking a Body Shop Technician I to perform repairs on class 8 equipment within your current skill level. You will inspect during repairs to determine if additional work is needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and climb, bend, and stand for long periods. A high school diploma or equivalent and being 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write the English language.
• Must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires.
• Must have physical ability to climb, bend and stoop.
• Must have physical ability to work while on feet at all times, ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have tools to perform skills for this level.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level.
• Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary.
• Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.
