Job summary

Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to help maintain our 16-story property, with 300 guest rooms and 24,000 sq ft of meeting space. You will support central plant operations, HVAC systems, and safety protocols in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Candidates should have hotel maintenance experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. This on-site role offers opportunities in a premier Dallas-area property connected to The Star.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years hotel or commercial building maintenance experience.
• Experience in emergency response is required.
• Good communication, attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Central Plant Operations and perform daily readings and testing.
• Maintain HVAC equipment in guestrooms and public spaces.
• Provide technical assistance to other technicians as needed.
• Work on other equipment as required.
• Maintain inventory and order HVAC supplies.
• Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and emergencies.
• Comply with Omni Hotel rules and safety regulations.
• Ensure work area is clean and free of hazards.
