Job description

Driver Support Services has an opportunity for Class 1 work with our client in Northampton during their peak period. The client is a major parcel delivery network.

The work is temporary and ongoing.

Applicants must be fully flexible, as shifts include days and nights, weekdays and weekends, with trunking work involving cages. Flexibility with start times and days will increase the number of shifts available.

Minimum 2 years of recent Class 1 experience with valid digi card history is required.

Infringements will be checked before assessment. Having more than 10 infringements in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers hours, may disqualify you from assessment.

No more than 3 points for speeding convictions are acceptable.

An assessment will be arranged, and a DBS check will be conducted for you.

Your shifts will be communicated via an online platform called Joined Up.

The work involves trunking between depots with cages, which will need to be unloaded and occasionally loaded.

Pay rates: Umbrella Class 1 days £24.50 per hour, nights £26.50 per hour.
