Job summary

DPD Group UK in Durham is seeking a Class 1 driver (CE) to join our nationwide transport network. You will handle multi-drop deliveries, ensure accurate tachograph records, and represent the DPD brand with professionalism.

Contract is permanent for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:15. The role offers £16.35 per hour with enhanced overtime, plus growth potential and sustainability-minded benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement is required.
• At least 6 months recent experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• A current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• You are reliable, safety-conscious, and align with DPD DNA: Passion, Respect, and Accountability.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area with time-sensitive deliveries.
• Ensure time-critical scheduling and uphold world-class service standards.
• Maintain accurate digital journey records for tachograph and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with safe loading/unloading of trailers and protect freight integrity.
• Represent the DPD brand with a flexible, solution-oriented approach.
