Position Details

Pure Staff is looking for an experienced C+E Class 1 Driver to work with one of our clients in Newport.

About the Client: A large, well-known company specializing in general haulage, supermarkets, and barrier work.

Job Description

The role involves trunking work using an articulated curtain-sided lorry. The driver will be part of a team handling motorway barriers.

Responsibilities

• Perform trunking work, including motorway barrier transportation
• Work shifts during weekdays, nights, and weekends
• Operate modern, well-maintained trucks
• Maintain a positive attitude

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• At least 1 year of Class 1 experience (insurance requirement)
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Additional Information

Shifts may be long, averaging 10-12 hours, in accordance with tachograph law.
