Job summary

Clarion Elementary/High School is hiring a Full Time Custodian for the 3PM-11PM shift at $17 per hour. You will maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities, supporting daily operations and enabling students to focus on learning.

This ESS staffing assignment requires a High School Diploma or GED and multiple background clearances. ESS offers ongoing training, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to contribute to a longtime education program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification – Act 24 required.
• PA State Police Criminal History Clearance – Act 34 required.
• Federal Criminal History Clearance – Act 114 required.
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training – Act 126 required.
• Child Abuse Clearance – Act 151 required.
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release – Act 168 required.
• Tuberculosis Test must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties before, during, and after school hours.
• Clean all areas of school buildings according to district standards, including floors, windows, furniture, and restrooms.
• Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate areas of the building.

An ESScustodianplays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities, ensuring every school day runs smoothly and students can focus on learning. In addition to regular building maintenance functions, the school custodian provides direct support to classroom teachers in set up and maintenance of furniture and equipment .
