A leading company in senior living seeks a Clare Bridge Caregiver to provide compassionate dementia care and support to residents. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, facilitating engagement programs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The caregiver will encourage residents to promote their independence while recording observations and addressing any concerns promptly. Opportunities for growth and benefits are included.
Clare Bridge Caregiver (Finance)
Provides dementia care including adapted ADLs, meaningful engagement, and communication to residents following a person-centered individual service plan. Treats residents with respect and dignity, recognizes individual needs, and encourages independence. Fosters a purposeful and engaging culture throughout the community.
Assists residents and provides input regarding the care plan and daily living activities. This includes bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from programs and meals according to the individual service plan and interventions. Partners and encourages residents to be as independent as possible, promoting self-care.
Participates in team behavioral expression meetings or discussions with community leadership. Knows the residents' Life Story, preferences, routines, and interests.
Serves meals to residents in the dining room and may assist in preparing meals following dementia-friendly menus. Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and stay hydrated, respecting their right to free choice. Records and reports changes in eating habits to the supervisor.
Initiates and/or leads at least one Daily Path engagement program based on residents' Life Stories, Solace program, or calendar. Encourages socialization and participation in person-centered programs, fostering friendships among residents.
Maintains residents' records daily, including documentation related to medication distribution, engagement interests, incidents, observations, and changes in physical or emotional condition. Reports any concerns promptly.
If permitted by state regulations, may assist with medication following physician orders and laws. Follows medication policies and procedures.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Performs housekeeping duties as scheduled, including laundry, bedrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, and kitchens.
Responds promptly and appropriately to emergency situations and resident requests, including emergency pull cords and family inquiries. Monitors resident location and reports if a resident cannot be located.
Encourages teamwork and cooperative interactions with co-workers.

Salary range: $16.00 - $17.73 per hour.
