Smurfit Westrock in Norcross, GA is seeking a Clamp Operator for 3rd shift. You will unload paper rolls, stack stock, and load rolls into industrial machines. The job is fast-paced, outdoors/indoors, with a strong safety emphasis.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, with qualification increases to $21.66/hr+. Shift options include 3rd shift 11:00 PM–7:00 AM or 2nd shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Benefits available from day one.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a power industrial machine (PIT).
• Knowledge of scanning systems.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to read materials to understand and apply content, such as instruction manuals and procedure manuals.
• Understanding of how to read shipping tags and shipping manifests.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Experience with inventory software is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Unload paper rolls from trucks and railcars, stack roll stock, and maintain an organized workspace.
• Load/unload production machines, trailers, and railcars using onboard computers (Thors).
• Perform safety inspections for trailers, docks, and dock plates.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in the workspace, and alert supervisors to quality issues.
