Job summary

International Paper is hiring for a Clamp Truck Driver in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves unloading, storing, and transporting rollstock to support the laminator and other corrugator operations.

You will report to laminator supervisors, follow safety and quality procedures, and help keep work areas clean and organized. Training and team collaboration are emphasized in this hourly full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Certified ability to safely operate forklift and clamp trucks.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and follow instructions.
• Ability to learn and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload, store, and transport rollstock to and from laminator.
• Report to laminator supervisors.
• Follow all plant safety, quality, and process rules.
• Unload from rail cars/trucks and store rollstock.
• Identify unloaded rolls with tags and records.
• Coordinate rollstock delivery to wet end positions per schedules.
• Return unused rolls to rollstock warehouse.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with material handling.
• Support wet end crews and other corrugator operations when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
