Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Forklift Operators at our Lebanon, TN corrugated sheet feeder plant. You will operate forklifts and clamp trucks, move raw materials, and track inventory with scan guns.

Shifts include orientation on first shift, then assignment to 2nd (2:00pm–10:00pm) or 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:00am) with overtime and weekend work. Compensation starts at $23.25 per hour plus $2.25 shift differentials, with room to grow based on skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating clamp trucks, forklifts, tow motors or similar mobile equipment in industrial settings.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Georgia-Pacific mobile equipment licenses and other permits.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Unloading incoming paper roll stock from trucks or railcars using a Clamp Truck
• Transporting large/heavy paper rolls to and from manufacturing process staging areas
• Assist in the preservation of a safe, clean, and organized raw material storage area
• Maintain accurate paper inventory records in computer systems with use of scan guns
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on and fueling of Clamp Trucks
