Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a dependable Clamp Truck Operator in Mt. Juliet, TN. You will operate clamp and reach trucks to move large materials, conduct routine inspections, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations.

The role supports shipping, receiving, and inventory processes in a fast-paced distribution environment with a 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating clamp truck or similar powered equipment.
• Ability to move large rolls and materials safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and inspections.

Location: Mt Juliet, TN
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift | 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Duties

• Safely operate a Reach Truck and other powered industrial equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials.

• Accurately scan, handle, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory movement, staging, palletizing, and order preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating clamp truck equipment or similar powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ability to transport large rolls, pallets, or specialized materials without product damage.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, equipment inspections, and load handling practices.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and warehouse locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Reach Truck or forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to obtain Reach Truck certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
