Job summary

International Paper Gilroy Bay Sheets in Gilroy, CA is seeking a Clamp Truck Operator. This full-time role requires flexibility to work all three shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) and occasional 12-hour shifts and Saturdays. Pay is $23.76 per hour.

You will unload and transport rolls, inspect forklift operations, and follow safety protocols. Benefits include PTO, retirement, medical/dental, tuition reimbursement, and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Unloads raw product from vendor freight cars and trucks.
• Transports and organizes rolls as directed.
• Fills Propane fuel tanks as needed.
• Visually inspects and checks forklift operation prior to shift.
• Communicates with Control Room regarding deviations with product or machinery.
• Places caps on all exposed roll tops.
• Attends all staff meetings and follows safety protocols.
• Maintains a clean work area free of debris.
