Job summary

PacificSource is seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to lead the Claims Analysts and support staff. The role focuses on supervising, coaching, and evaluating team performance while ensuring accurate claims processing and adherence to privacy requirements.

The position emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality service to members, providers, and employers. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a closely related insurance field or 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PacificSource products, plan designs, provider relationships, and health insurance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, coaching, training, evaluation and leadership to assigned staff.
• Assure claims processing, production and quality meet department and company standards.
• Evaluate performance of team members and identify training needs.
• Oversee review and research of medical and dental claims and determine coverage based on contract and guidelines.
• Communicate changes in business processes to the team in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Training Coordinator on initial and continued education for staff.
