Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and diffuse difficult callers.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete activities auto populated in the claim system based on the claim type reported.
• Order police reports from various jurisdictions for claims.
• Send acknowledgement letters to customers and claimants.
• Call clients about damaged equipment and obtain photos.
• Send letters both regular and certified mail as directed by adjusters or supervisors.
• Research new mail or e-mails to see if the claim has been previously reported.
• Answer telephone calls for inter office and outside callers.
• Upload new mail and e-mails into the claims file electronically.
• Assist co-workers, adjusters and other departments as needed.
• Issuing checks to vendors.
• Provide additional support and research for special projects as requested by management.
