Job summary

Sentry Insurance Group seeks a skilled supplier management professional to oversee the claims supplier portfolio. The role focuses on optimizing value, cost, and risk while ensuring compliance and accurate entitlements tracking.

You'll collaborate with claims, IT, procurement, and suppliers to drive contract awareness, renewal timing, and SLA adherence, supporting audits and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience; software asset management and licensing experience preferred.
  • Certified Software Asset Manager certification preferred.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of software asset management tools, technologies, and principles/practices.
  • Familiarity with hardware technology and configurations including virtualization; CMDB documentation an asset.
  • Proven ability to engage others in collaboration to resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of product use rights for software publishers and understanding of software contracts and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Excel, pivot tables, V‑lookups, and functional agreements.

  • Monitor supplier contract dates and renewal items including terms, pricing, and SLA adherence.
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual reviews and support monthly invoicing as applicable.
  • Identify supplier opportunities and coordinate discovery discussions between teams.
  • Provide support during audits and assist with dispute resolution.
  • Contribute to supplier management strategies to minimize compliance and security risks.

Job description

Oversight of the operational and strategic management of the claims supplier portfolio to optimize value, cost, and risk. Ensures accurate tracking of supplier entitlements and usage to maintain compliance and minimize risk. Collaborates with claims business areas, corporate procurement, IT, and suppliers to provide accurate information.

Reports to the Stevens Point, WI office.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive listing and overview of claims suppliers and services.
  • Compile and monitor supplier contract dates, providing timely awareness of renewal dates and key contract items such as terms, pricing, current costs, and SLA adherence.
  • Coordinate quarterly business reviews, annual reviews, partnership reviews, and support monthly invoicing as applicable.
  • Identify potential supplier opportunities, compile a comparison analysis, and coordinate discovery discussions between claims, IT, procurement, and suppliers.
  • Provide support during audits and assist with dispute resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier management strategies and approaches to minimize compliance and security risks.
