Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Claims processing experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid, Marketplace and/or Medicare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day work functions of the assigned claims area and provide leadership support to staff.
• Prioritize work volumes daily through reporting, load balancing, and managing overtime costs.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and resolve operational gaps with a focus on financial, regulatory, and stakeholder impact.
• Review, investigate, adjust, and resolve pending and complex claims with escalation as needed.
• Monitor claims quality reviews, document results, and identify trends and root causes.
• Serve as point of contact for the team and other departments; gather background information as needed.
• Prepare reporting, analysis, and insights to drive operational excellence; maintain records and documentation.
• Support change initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
