- Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of complex construction defect claims
- Analyze policy coverage and communicate findings to insured parties and agencies
- Identify and pursue risk transfer and subrogation opportunities

- Maintain timely communication with insured parties regarding case developments and financial exposures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in handling casualty claims, with at least 3 years of direct construction defect claims experience
- Must possess a four-year college degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of high exposure construction defect claims and considerable litigation handling experience
- Ability to read and interpret policy language, endorsements, and contracts
- Must meet state licensing requirements to handle "multi-line" claims

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AIC, CRIS, and/or similar claims designation
- Experience in negotiating high-value settlements and understanding allocation theories
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with effective communication abilities
- Familiarity with various construction trades and contractual laws
- Previous experience in collaborating with legal professionals on complex cases
