Core Specialty is seeking a Claims Specialist to assist with administration, investigation, and resolution of bond forfeiture claims. You will work under guidance, communicating with bail agents, courts, attorneys, and internal teams to obtain information and maintain claim files.
The role emphasizes learning state statutes, procedures, and bond forfeiture requirements while handling routine claims independently and escalating complex cases as needed.
- Assist with the administration, investigation, and resolution of bond forfeiture claims under the direction and guidance of experienced claims personnel. The Claims Specialist will communicate with bail agents, courts, attorneys, recovery vendors, and internal departments to obtain and maintain claim information, monitor forfeiture activity, process claim payments, ensure claim files are accurate and complete. This position will develop knowledge of applicable state statutes, company procedures, and bond forfeiture requirements while progressively assuming responsibility for routine claims.
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn and apply state-specific regulations, statutes, and company procedures.
