Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Adjuster’s license must be obtained within 6 months.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

• Strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to perform mathematical operations daily.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, validate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle assigned claims.
• Submit reserve recommendations on assigned claims.
• Communicate with the public regarding procedures, problems, and coverages.
• Negotiate fair settlements with claimants or attorneys.
• Maintain claim files and follow reporting procedures.
• Report risk reviews to Underwriting.
• Participate in training and continuing education as required.
• Prepare estimates on auto and property losses.
