Job summary

GEICO in Richardson, Texas is seeking an Auto Claims Specialist to manage claims with accuracy and empathy, guiding policyholders through the lifecycle, collecting accident facts, statements, and coordinating investigations to determine coverage.

Starting pay is $26.31–$39.21 per hour with evening (+10%) and weekend (+20%) differentials, a $1,500 sign-on for licensed candidates, benefits from day one, 13 paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and a strong career growth path through GEICO's training

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant customer service and/or transaction processing experience.
• 2+ years of Auto Liability Claims experience preferred.
• Active Texas (4-20) All Lines Adjusters license preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Claims Processing: Efficiently and accurately handle insurance claims in line with policies and procedures.
• Customer Interaction: Manage incoming calls, collect accident facts, investigate claim details, and obtain statements.
• Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage and assess potential fraud.
