Job Description

A day in the life of a Claims Resolution Adjuster involves investigating automobile accidents involving bodily injury. You will work remotely from home, handling responsibilities such as assessing coverage, liability, damages, and providing exceptional customer service through various channels including calls, email, and text. Using advanced platforms and tools, you will negotiate fair injury settlements with all parties involved.

Additional Role Information

The Claims Resolution Adjuster primarily handles liability investigations, identifies injured parties beyond FNOL, and assesses risk potential. They support claimants through vehicle restoration and collaborate with Casualty Adjusters throughout the claims process.

This role requires residence in Mountain or Pacific time zones, excluding California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Schedule

8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with potential Saturday rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Expert: Demonstrate empathy, empower, and restore customer trust.
  • Investigator: Conduct detailed damage reviews and interpret policies.
  • Effective Communicator: Use calls, emails, and video chats to guide customers.
  • Negotiator: Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements.
  • Problem Solver: Use tools and critical thinking to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Recorder: Ensure accurate documentation and policy compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years Claims experience, especially in Casualty Bodily Injury
  • Claims investigation and negotiation skills
  • Experience with liability investigations, coverage, and liability resolution
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Remote Work Requirements
  • Dedicated, private workspace
  • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up
  • Appropriate furniture and equipment

Licensing Notice
  • Possibility of needing an adjuster or appraiser license, with a 60-day deadline for licensing

Sign-On Bonus

Eligible candidates may receive a $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus if they hold the necessary active licenses. Previous employees seeking rehire are ineligible.

Compensation
