What you’re applying for

We’re seeking an empathetic, communicative individual to join our Claims Experience team. If you have a background in customer experience and a genuine passion for helping others, you’ll love this opportunity.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Lemonade’s Claims Experience Adjusters to settle property claims and exceed customer expectations. You’ll handle simple or fast-track claims with a customer-first approach.

In this role, you’ll

  • Provide delightful experiences to our customers across all channels (email, phone, etc.)
  • Investigate and handle complex claims from start to finish
  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks to resolve claim questions efficiently
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Insurance Product teams on new product lines
  • Coach junior colleagues and help shape processes with management

What you’ll need

  • Minimum of 4+ years of claims-handling experience, preferably in Property
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
  • Efficiency and a strong drive to get things done
  • Empathy, patience, and positivity in your approach to work
