BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented claims processor to ensure accurate, timely processing of claims in a flexible work setting. The role is 30 hours per week, with on-site work at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC, and potential for work-from-home after training.

Training occurs onsite Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM for 8-10 weeks with travel required. You will verify codes, resolve system edits, and coordinate with internal departments to update patient

Position Purpose

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of claims.

Location

This position is full-time (30 hours/week) Monday through Friday in a typical office environment or home environment. You will work the PT shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located on-site at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC. Training will be onsite Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -4:30PM for approximately 8-10 weeks. Travel required. This position will be eligible for W@H after performance review, training completion, equipment issuance and review of LOB business needs. Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
