You will verify benefits, process claims, review codes, perform data entry with 10-key, and support an Early Intervention program serving children ages 0-3.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, medical billing, claims processing, healthcare administration, customer service, or office administration is preferred.
• Knowledge of deductibles, copays, and insurance verification is helpful.
• College coursework or a degree is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to verify insurance benefits using a structured list of questions.
• Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Verify insurance information, eligibility, deductibles, copays, and timely filing requirements.
• Review and enter procedure codes using the company's claims processing system.
• Perform accurate data entry using 10-key and alphanumeric entry.
• Communicate professionally with insurance representatives by phone and email.
• Maintain detailed records while meeting productivity and accuracy goals.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Support claims processing for an Early Intervention program serving children ages 0-3.
