Here, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of insurance and make a meaningful impact.

Your Role:

As a claims processor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the claims organization by managing low complexity liability claims from start to finish. You’ll confirm coverage by reviewing the first notice of loss, utilizing internal systems and interpreting policy language. Once coverage is confirmed, you’ll proactively manage the file through resolution, guiding independent adjusters, applying strategy and documenting each step clearly. You’ll ensure timely, professional communication with both internal and external contacts and support our service commitment through responsiveness and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims handling: Manage low complexity liability claims from coverage confirmation to resolution
  • File management: Proactively oversee claim files with strategic direction and effective diary use
  • Communication: Respond to phone and email inquiries the same day from both internal and external contacts
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough, clear file notes to reflect claim activity and strategy
  • Customer support: Uphold claim service standards by delivering timely and accurate responses
  • Project work: Support special projects as needed and contribute to department goals
  • Professional development: Engage in ongoing education to maintain licenses and support career growth
What You’ll Bring:
  • Customer mindset: A service-first attitude focused on helping others with professionalism
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to evaluate complex details and identify core issues
  • Time management: Effective prioritization of tasks and strong organizational habits
  • Technical proficiency: Comfort using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and internal systems
  • Team approach: Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of one year in the insurance industry
  • College degree or equivalent business/industry experience
  • Willingness to work on-site at least four days per week
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing within a professional setting

Passion and drive can be just as important as experience. If you’re excited about this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!

Position affords 5 days per month to work remotely.
