Job summary

SoTalent seeks a Manager, Claims Operations – Property Claims Express to lead our Property Claims Express team in Chesapeake, VA. This hybrid role directs investigations, evaluations and negotiations, focusing on performance, coaching, quality and efficiency.

You will drive regulatory compliance, process improvements, and staff development, balancing risk with customer care. 4 days in office, full-time, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 6+ years of progressive customer service, operations, military or leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of claims handling experience with demonstrated proficiency.
• 2+ years of team lead, supervisory or management experience.
• Experience using data to support operational decisions.
• Strong leadership, customer service and claims handling skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required insurance adjuster license within 6 months.

About the Role

Lead Property Claims Express operations and manage claims service employees responsible for investigating, evaluating and negotiating claims. The role focuses on team performance, coaching, claims quality, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and process improvement.
