Universal Health Services is seeking an experienced Claims Manager in Reno to oversee management of claims for Commercial, ASO and Medicare products. The role includes staff training, coordinating with health plan departments, and ensuring timely payment of claims.

The position requires strong technical skills in health plan processing, supervisory experience, and excellent English communication. A Bachelor’s degree and Medicare/Medicaid fluency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Five years in a health plan environment.
• Five years Medicare/Medicaid claims processing experience.
• At least two years supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims for Commercial, ASO and Medicare products.
• Provide staff training according to contracts, rules, regulations and policies.
• Oversee interactions with health plan departments.
• Coordinate production of health plan products ensuring timely claim payments.
• Resolve questions regarding claim payments and benefits.
