Qualifications

• Preferred 5 years of casualty claim handling experience.
• Preferred 2 years of litigation management experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coverage and risk transfer analysis.
• Experience in detailed analysis of facts relevant to coverage, liability and damages.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation and defense strategies in assigned states and claims.
• Evaluate claims and set reserves in excess of $100,000.
• Participate in coverage analysis for the assigned claims.
• Provide technical direction and support to field claims associates.
• Prepare reports and other written communications for stakeholders.
• Travel as required.

Our Headquarters Claims Department is currently seeking a Management Liability Litigation Specialist to handle and oversee the processing of large and complex management liability claims. This position is located in Fairfield, OH. We currently provide a hybrid work environment, with an 80/20 split between in-office and remote work. Relocation packages available for eligible candidates to relocate to Fairfield, OH.

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $150,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to

• manage litigation and defense strategies in assigned states and assigned claims
• evaluate claims and set reserves in excess of $100,000
• participate in coverage analysis for the assigned claims
• provide technical direction and support to field claims associates
• prepare reports and other written correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
• participate in mediations, seminars, field unit meetings and complete other tasks as needed
• travel as required
