Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated student for summer 2027 to join our team as a Claims Representative Intern. The position requires investigating facts, evaluating coverage, and assisting with loss resolution.

You will service agents and policyholders, study policies and forms, and may attend arbitrations or trials as necessary. Rate of pay starts at $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate loss, and help pay or deny losses.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to understand coverage.
• Assist in the resolution of claims and attend arbitrations or depositions as necessary.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of claims.
• Service the needs of agents and policyholders.
• Handle investigations by phone, mail, and on-site.
