Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate loss amounts, analyze liability and decide on payments.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements and forms to become familiar with coverage.
• Work toward resolving claims; may attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions or trials as needed.
• Ensure claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner.
• Service the needs of agents, policyholders and others.
• Handle investigations by phone, mail and on-site.
