Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is offering a Claims Intern position where you will support the claims team with administrative tasks and system maintenance. You will gain exposure to the claims process and shadow client visits while developing professional skills for future roles in client management or sales.

The internship focuses on building a solid foundation in the insurance industry through real-world project work and industry training, with a pathway to full-time opportunities.

A day in the life.

As our Claims Intern on the Claims team, you’ll work closely with the internal claims management team to provide administrative support, system maintenance and superior customer service. This intern will gain exposure to the insurance claims process, gain insight into carrier relationships and have the opportunity to shadow client visits.

MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you’ve learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You’ll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency’s internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA’s goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

The applicable hourly rate for this role is $20.
