Job summary

WebTPA, a GuideWell Company, is a healthcare TPA recruiting for a Claims Examiner in Irving, TX. Starting with a training class on 12/7/2026, the role runs Mon-Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm Central during the four-week training and into standard operations.

You will handle processing and adjudication of medical, dental, vision, and mental health claims, perform research, and ensure accurate coverage per policy guidelines. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in healthcare claims processing or adjudication.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding is required.
• Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, pre-existing conditions, and coordination of benefits.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to learn quickly and multitask.
• Proficiency maintaining good rapport with physicians, facilities, clients and providers.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day claims for medical, dental, vision, and mental health.
• Perform claims adjudication and research as needed.
• Investigate and manage overpayments; track resolutions.
• Resolve claims appeals and verify plan benefits and coverage.
