As a Cyber Claims Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing claims data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in claim processing and management.You will also be required to ensure claims data is up to date and adhering to data governing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis:Utilize advanced data analytics techniques and data visualization, to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to claims strategy and cyber analytics using various data sources.
- Compliance and Regulation:Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.Build and maintain data dictionaries to document and organize relevant data elements, contributing to the overall data management and governance initiatives.
- Reporting and Communication:Prepare and present reports to management, sharing findings and recommendations.Develop and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with business teams to track performance through data driven decision-making.
- Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement in claims tracking & handling and collaborate on solutions.
- Risk Management:Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with claims data.
- Collaboration:Work with other departments, such as underwriting, actuaries and customer service, to address complex claims issues.
- Data Entry and Maintenance:Responsible for entering and maintaining accurate claim data in various systems and trackers
- Data Interpretation:Interpret policy language and understand the implications of claims data.
- Communication:Communicate findings to management, claim handlers and policyholders. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Experience in the insurance industry, specifically claims centers and financial services.
- Experience in a collaborative role for 3 years, working alongside business teams, operational teams, and stakeholders to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct data analysis that leads to impactful insights.
- Strong experience utilizing data visualization software - Power BI, Qlik and data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and R
- Possessing exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling the effective presentation of complex data insights and the ability to communicate to executive leadership.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within assigned deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset to think critically and contribute to the organization's goals
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating across various functions and levels of the organization.
The pay range for the role is $68,700 to $116,700. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
