Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Casualty Litigation Specialist to manage and oversee large casualty claims. This role offers a hybrid work environment with relocation support for eligible candidates.

You will evaluate claims, supervise defense strategies, and provide technical direction to field claims teams while preparing reports for stakeholders and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years prior casualty claim handling experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coverage analysis.
• Experience in detailed analysis of facts relevant to an evaluation of coverage, liability and damages.
• Ability to multitask and maintain positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• manage litigation and defense strategies in assigned states and assigned claims
• evaluate claims and set reserves in excess of $100,000
• participate in coverage analysis for the assigned claims
• provide technical direction and support to field claims associates
• prepare reports and other written correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
• participate in mediations, seminars, field unit meetings and complete other tasks as needed
• travel as required

Our Headquarters Claims Department is currently seeking a Casualty Litigation Specialist to handle and oversee the processing of large and complex casualty claims. This position is in Fairfield, OH. We currently provide a hybrid work environment, with a 80/20 split between in-office and remote work. Relocation package is available for eligible candidates to relocate to Fairfield, OH.

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $150,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

You've earned:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• CPCU, AIC, AIM designations, or other relevant education preferred
