Job summary

Tower Hill Insurance Group is hiring a Claims Business Intelligence Specialist to partner with Claims and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reporting, perform data analysis, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will own key reports, translate business requirements into dashboards, and provide actionable insights from complex data sets. Hybrid work is supported, with preference for candidates in FL or surrounding states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of BI, data analytics, or reporting experience expected.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI or similar tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Claims to gather requirements and define KPIs and metrics.
• Translate requirements into reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Own and validate existing reports for accuracy and relevance.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and anomalies.

The Claims Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for partnering with Claims and cross-functional subject matter experts to develop new reporting, manage existing reporting, and leverage comprehensive data analysis to support data-driven decision-making. This position collaborates closely with the Claims team to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations for leadership throughout the organization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of claims data, systems, and processes to identify relevant data sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Claims team to gather business and reporting requirements and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to be tracked.


• Translate business requirements into reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions, using appropriate business intelligence tools and techniques.


• Take ownership of existing reports, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and relevance to business needs.


• Conduct comprehensive analysis of claims data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.


• Interpret and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.


• Collaborate with the Claims team to identify areas for process improvement and provide data-driven recommendations.


• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence and data analysis.


• Provide training and support to the Claims team on the use of business intelligence tools and interpretation of reporting and analytics.


• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to support reporting, data validation, and analysis.


• Support automated report distributions and recurring reporting processes.


• Promote reports through development, testing, and production environments.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or related field required.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or related experience required. Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, including SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms required.

CERTIFICATIONS

Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or related business intelligence certification preferred.

LICENSES

Valid Driver’s License required.

Preferred work arrangement hybrid on-site, but remote candidates will be considered based on qualifications and experience.
