Job summary

Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking a Claims Business Analyst to support healthcare clients across the United States. The role focuses on analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and collaborating with clients, PMs, and technical teams to design effective solutions.

Ideal candidates have 9+ years of BA experience in healthcare, Medicaid/Medicare exposure, and strong Excel data analysis skills. Remote US work with travel may be required as part of client engagements.

Your role in our mission

• Analyze, plan, design, document and make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technological aspirations
• Be a supportive bridge between clients, project managers and technical personnel to define, track and communicate business requirements and their expected impact by building basic conceptual data and process models
• Create, execute or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are built into system design
• Ensure that “intent of change” is carried out through every project phase by participating in technical reviews and inspections

What we're looking for

• 9+ years of Business Analyst experience within the Healthcare Industry; Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business process improvement and re-engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including quantitative analysis and data driven decision making
• Knowledge of programming concepts, including configuration, development, and batch processing
• Hands-on Claims and Encounter Processing experience across multiple Claim Types, with the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders

• Remote within the US with occasional travel may be required
• Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is$86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
