Job summary

COUNTRY Financial seeks an experienced attorney to represent the organization on claims-related legal matters and provide counsel to claims personnel. You will manage files, litigation costs, and develop litigation strategy.

You will assign cases to outside counsel, oversee their work, and provide training to ensure consistent handling. May attend trials as needed, with hybrid work from Bloomington, IL.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Must have passed the Bar exam.
• Experience in handling/defending first-party property matters and analyzing insurance coverage issues preferred.

Do you have what we're looking for?

• Experience in handling/defending first-party property matters and analyzing insurance coverage issues preferred.

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Must have passed the Bar exam.

This position can be hired either remote or hybrid based in Bloomington, Illinois. Candidates within 50 miles of Bloomington will work a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.

Base Pay Range

$110,000-$151,250

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
