Job summary

First American is seeking a customer-focused team member for our Claims Evaluations Department. You will investigate, analyze and respond to complaints from Consumer Protection Agencies, regulatory bodies, and legal letters in coordination with upper management.

With 1–2 years of customer service experience and strong communication and analytical skills, you will gain a solid understanding of the home warranty industry. This remote role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

• Fundamental understanding of the home warranty industry
• Ability to keep composure in hostile conversations
• Previous leadership experience desired but not required

What We Do

The purpose of the Claims Evaluations Department is to handle escalated and highly visible claims that could not be handled through the normal claims channel. The department handles legal issues as it pertains to claims, and assists in maintaining the company’s reputation with our customers, regulatory agencies and consumer protection agencies. Based on experience, performance, and need, internal growth within the department is available.

What You’ll Do

Pay Range

Pay Range: $23.37 - $31.15 Hourly, Remote

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ** Note that the following statements only apply to candidates who will be working from an unincorporated area within Los Angeles County. **
