Sedgwick is hiring for a Claims Associate to analyze reported lower-level general and bodily injury claims and adjudicate benefits due. This hybrid role offers two days in the office and three days remote, with AZ licensing preferred and locations including Phoenix, AZ.

You will adjudicate, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while supporting a wide range of industries and brands. Sedgwick emphasizes care, inclusion, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Licensing/Jurisdiction Knowledge: NV, WA, OR, AK, HI CA; AZ licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure.
• Handles lower-level liability and/or physical damage claims under close supervision; supports other claims representatives and leads with larger, complex claims as necessary.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a timely manner.
