Responsibilities
Review incoming correspondence items (claims forms, medical records, etc.), mark duplicates, close items, and label each item from a drop‑down list.
Summarize key information from incoming correspondence related to STD claims.
Verify initial eligibility details for claims.
Contact claimants by phone to confirm information and perform outbound calls.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Assess integrity and document findings.
Work flexible hours (7am‑5pm local time, 30 min lunch, two 15 min breaks) and can handle OT if discussed with manager.
Receive training and duplicate items as correspondence volume increases.
Transition to case management side if converted.
