Job summary

Hallmark Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Claims Adjuster for its early settlement/fast track department in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role supports the personal auto lines division and requires in-office presence with a Hybrid Schedule.

The candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve low to moderate complexity claims in compliance with procedures and state regulations, leveraging strong research and communication skills to reach fair settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 0-5 years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Personal lines adjusting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate coverage and determine liability based on a complete investigation of the facts of the loss from all parties.
• Resolve property damages.
• Control rental and settlement of total loss vehicles.
• Explain basis for decisions made, and when necessary, negotiate the value of the loss.
• Obtain proper paperwork or releases.
• Maintain diary of pending files and update information to ensure a record of claims with continual review and monitored progress.

Job Description: We are hiring! We are looking for a claims adjuster for our early settlement/fast track department.

Candidates must be located in the DFW metroplex and available to work in the office (Hybrid Schedule). This is our personal lines (auto) division.

Job Summary

Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and resolves claims of low to moderate complexity through effective research, negotiation and interaction with insured’s and claimants in accordance to established claims procedures and state regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Investigate coverage and determine liability based on a complete investigation of the facts of the loss from all parties.
• Resolve property damages.
• Control rental and settlement of total loss vehicles.
• Explain basis for decisions made, and when necessary, negotiate the value of the loss.
• Obtain proper paperwork or releases.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• 0-5 years related experience and/or training
• equivalent combination of education and experience

Personal lines adjusting experience preferred.
