Primary Details

  • The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to investigate and process crop claims, conduct field inspections, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with insurance policies and regulations.
Location & Work Arrangement
  • Location: Work Remotely in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia, USA
  • Work Arrangement: Fully remote for candidates in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia (M-F, 37.5 hours)
Compensation

The salary range for this role is between $53,000 and $79,000. The actual offer will depend on the role's complexity, location, and the candidate’s background. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance. We encourage candidates to apply even if their salary expectations are outside this range.

Responsibilities
  • Complete field inspections, reviews, and adjustments accurately to administer crop insurance policies.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance statutes and regulations to apply crop policies cost-effectively.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through timely and accurate service.
  • Document and transmit loss information accurately to assess damages.
  • Support business objectives through quality control, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others positively.
Qualifications
  • Secondary school certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the insurance industry, agriculture, or farming.
