Job summary

Independence Pet Holdings is seeking a Claims Adjuster-Associate to join our remote US team. You will investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims, determine policy coverage, and decide appropriate compensation amounts, reporting to the Supervisor, Claims.

You will work closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to review medical history, verify coverage, update EOBs, and close claims. This is a full-time, remote role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities across

Qualifications

• 1 year relevant experience working in a veterinary clinic.
• Must be US resident.
• Adjuster license or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Remote work eligibility within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process assigned insurance claims, verify coverage and compensation per policy.
• Review a pet’s medical history to determine a baseline of health.
• Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), pay and close claims.
• May order medical records from providers.
• Communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
